Toy Testing Camp (ages 6-8)

HOPKINS:  Mon, 6/10 - Wed, 6/12, 9-noon

CHANHASSEN:  Mon, 6/17 - Wed, 6/19, 9-noon

Join us in the thrilling adventure of testing and evaluating the latest in games, arts & crafts, remote control, and imaginative toys. Together, we will establish criteria and meticulously assess these toys for key factors like durability, packaging, instructions, and the duration of play. At the culmination of our camp, we'll unveil our top picks and celebrate the magic that sets exceptional toys apart!

Rosie Revere, Engineer Camp (ages 6-8)

HOPKINS:  Mon, 6/10 - Wed, 6/12, 1-4pm

CHANHASSEN:  Mon, 6/24 - Wed, 6/26, 1-4pm

Drawing inspiration from the remarkable engineer, Rosie Revere, we'll embark on an inventive journey to craft practical innovations for use at home. Delving into the fascinating world of inventions, we'll explore stories of famous creations that almost never came to be and unravel the essential steps in the inventive process. Additionally, we'll delve into the crucial skills and character traits vital for transforming ideas into reality. To document our budding creativity, each camper will be equipped with an inventing journal to capture and nurture their grand ideas.

Build a Fort Camp (ages 4-8)

 HOPKINS:  Mon, 6/17 - Wed, 6/19, 9-noon

CHANHASSEN:  Mon, 6/10 - Wed, 6/12, 9-noon

A perennial favorite, this camp offers each camper a huge cardboard box and a ton of supplies to craft the fort they've always envisioned. Guided from ideation to design, through iterations and meticulous detailing, the forts emerging from this camp are truly unique masterpieces. At the end of the journey, campers proudly transport their epic forts home for further play.

Super Hero Camp (ages 4-6)

HOPKINS:  Mon, 6/24 - Wed, 6/26, 1-4pm

Prepare for our most energetic summer camp experience! Engage in rigorous superhero training, including exhilarating obstacle courses, speed and agility drills, and specialized sessions to discover and harness each camper’s unique superpowers. Every camper will be adorned with their personal cape, and all aspiring heroes are encouraged to flaunt their preferred superhero attire. Get ready to embark on a mission to save the world!

Princess, Fairy, Unicorn Camp (ages 4-6)

HOPKINS:  Mon, 6/24 - Wed, 6/26, 9-noon or Mon, 8/5 - Wed, 8/7, 9-noon

Dive into a world of glitter, fairy dust, and unicorns in this magical camp tailored just for you! Craft your own dazzling crowns, intricate jewelry, unicorn bags, and majestic castles to carry the enchantment home. Get hands-on with the creation of sparkly unicorn slime and engage in fun-filled games like the Tiara Toss. Join the royal scavenger hunt and cap off each day with a delightful dance party. Feel free to dress in your finest princess, fairy, or unicorn attire as we embark on this fantastical journey together!

LEGO Camp (ages 6-8)

Immerse yourself in the ultimate building experience at this camp where each participant will construct a LEGO kit from a selection we’ve chosen. But that's just the beginning! Elevate your creativity as we craft additional accessories to complement our newly built LEGO creations, utilizing materials such as cardboard and a myriad of supplies. Engage in thrilling contests like the LEGO Tower Challenge and LEGO Speed Building, showcasing your building prowess. To top it all off, design and race your very own LEGO race cars in the ultimate competition!

Dragon Camp (ages 6-8)

Immerse yourself in the enchanting realm of mythical dragons! Unleash your creativity as we weave epic dragon tales and bring them to life by crafting our very own dragons and their mystical lairs. Dive into the wonders of chemical reactions as we concoct mesmerizing dragon potions. The adventure reaches its pinnacle with the Dragon Olympics, where we'll engage in dragon-inspired games and revel in the magic and fun of our mythical friends.

Ultimate Barbie Camp (ages 6-8)

In this imaginative camp, each camper will handpick a Barbie from our curated collection and breathe life into their doll by envisioning a unique career and surroundings. Dive into the world of creativity as we craft personalized cardboard homes, fashion miniature accessories, and orchestrate a delightful pretend sleepover for our dolls. Let your imagination soar as we bring our Barbie dolls and their stories to vibrant life!

Transformers Adventure Camp (ages 6-8)

Join us as we delve into the mesmerizing realm of these shape-shifting wonders. Explore the intricacies of their transforming abilities, unleash your creativity by designing and crafting your very own Transformers, embark on a thrilling Cybertron Quest with a scavenger hunt, and partake in the epic Autobot vs. Decepticon Challenge featuring a group obstacle course. Get ready for an adventure-packed journey in the Transformers universe! 

Hotwheels Adventure Camp (ages 5-8)

Rev up the Excitement with Hot Wheels! Join us for an adrenaline-fueled adventure as we dive headfirst into the thrilling world of Hot Wheels. Get creative as we design our own custom cars, engineer DIY racetracks complete with ramps, and discover the secrets of modifying cars to achieve lightning-fast speeds. To cap off the excitement, brace yourselves for the ultimate showdown with Time Trials and a Racing Tournament on our grand finale day. Get ready for high-speed fun and a journey into the fast-paced universe of Hot Wheels!

Young Inventor Challenge Camp (ages 8-14) 

HOPKINS:  Mon, 7/22 - Wed, 7/24, 1-4pm

Embark on the Exciting Journey of Toy Invention! Delve into the intricate design process of creating a new toy or game, guiding you from the initial sparks of brainstorming and idea generation to the hands-on experiences of prototype building, testing, and perfecting your pitch. Armed with a plethora of supplies, each camper will craft a prototype of their unique toy. The pinnacle of our adventure awaits on the last day when we step into the "Shark Tank," where our budding inventors will receive valuable feedback from professionals in the toy industry. Hosted by CHITag, the standout winner of this challenge will progress to compete in the regional Young Inventor Challenge competition in the fall. Get ready to unleash your creativity and make your mark in the world of toy innovation!

Mermaid & Narwhal Camp (ages 4-6)

HOPKINS:  Mon, 7/29 - Wed, 7/31, 9-noon

CHANHASSEN:  Mon, 6/24 - Wed, 6/26, 9-noon

Embark on a Enchanting Underwater Odyssey! Immerse yourself in the magic of the ocean as we transform into mermaids and narwhals. Dive into creativity by crafting your own Mermaid Tails and Narwhal Horns, bringing your fantastical sea persona to life. Together, we'll create mesmerizing underwater scenes that capture the beauty of the deep blue. And, in an exciting adventure, we'll navigate a scavenger hunt to uncover the hidden treasures beneath the waves. Join us for a magical exploration of the ocean's wonders!

Pricing: each camp is $119/child

Please bring:

• a peanut-free snack or two and drink
• dress for a mess; we use washable materials but they may not come out of fine fabrics 
• a change of clothes if your child is prone to accidents

The details (staffing, cancellations, etc)
●  Camps will take place in our party room (with side trips to the restroom)

●  Each camp will have a maximum of 10 campers at Chanhassen and 15 campers at Hopkins.  Each camp requires 5 participants to run. We will notify campers one full week before the camp is scheduled to run if the minimum number of participants is not met.

●  Cancellations received 4 or more weeks before the start of camp will receive a full refund. Cancellations received 2-4 weeks before the start of camp will receive a 50% refund. Cancellations received less than two full weeks before the start of camp will receive no refund, but will be issued a credit towards a future camp.

●  Campers must be potty-trained; we are happy to remind campers (often!) to go to the bathroom.

●  All camps are drop-off. If a parent or caregiver wishes to stay, they may do so as long as they participate with their campers.

●  If your child has allergies or special needs, please let us know so we can provide a great camp experience to every child!
