2020 kiddywampus summer camp schedule

 

New this Year:  Make it a full day with Lunch Bunch!  Your child 

can stay with us through the lunch hour (ages 4+).

 

1.  Build a Fort Camp (ages 4-8):  Tues, 6/16 - Thurs, 6/18, 9:00 - 12:00 

One of our favorite camps each summer, led by owner Amy Saldanha – campers will each receive a giant cardboard box and tons of other supplies to build the fort of their dreams.  The sky’s the limit when our imaginations are engaged—we’ve seen restaurants, dino lairs, pet shops, space ships...what will you create?! Campers will take their own epic fort home with them at the end of camp. (Note: this camp is very open-ended depending on the campers’ ages & interests.)

3.  Princess and Fairy Camp (ages 3-5):  Tues, 6/23 - Thurs, 6/25, 9:00 - 12:00

We’ll learn about Elsa, Anna, Tinkerbell and all their friends in this glittery camp.  Each camper will create princess/fairy wands, crowns and puppets. We will dance to music, hear princess and fairy stories and make fairy house crafts!

 

4.  Ultimate Unicorns (ages 4-6):  Tues, 6/23 - Thurs, 6/25, 1 - 4pm

Join us as we enter the land of rainbows and unicorns! Take an adventure into the magical world of colorful dreamcatchers, unicorn headpieces, and rainbow jewelry. Sparkles and glitter galore!

 

5.  Sensational Science (ages 3-5):  Tues, 6/30 - Thurs, 7/2, 9:00 - 12:00

Take a turn being a scientist for the week. Explore glowing ice, make clouds rain and watch lava erupt from a volcano! Bring your creative mind for an exciting time of science experiments that you will want to share with your friends!

 

6.  Super Slime (ages 4-6):  Tues, 6/30 - Thurs, 7/2, 1 - 4pm 

Come ready to make some cool concoctions like slime, marvelous mud and puffy paints!

Get ready to get messy at camp. You will bring home all the mixtures you make along with recipes to keep the fun going for hours!

 

7.  Paw Patrol (ages 3-5):  Tues, 7/7 - Thurs, 7/9, 9:00 - 12:00

Calling all Paw Patrol fans -- Ryder needs our help! We will make puppy masks, shields and paw prints.  Join us in the Paw Patrol Search and Rescue and hear stories about your favorite Paw Patrol friends!

 

8.  Superheroes (ages 4-6):  Tues, 7/7 - Thurs, 7/9, 1 - 4pm

If you’re a fan of Spiderman, Batman, Wonder Woman or any other superhero friends, this camp is for you! Make your own cape, mask and shield. Create your own superhero puppets. Learn about your own superhero powers and how all of us can change the world together! 

 

9.  Lego Star Wars Adventures with Snapology (ages 5-8):  Tues, 7/14 - Thurs, 7/16, 9:00 - 12:00

In this camp, students will bring the world of Star Wars™ to life with their master builder skills and our intergalactic-structured activities. Motivated to become Jedis like the heroes they know from the movies, they will learn to concentrate on mastering the Force, appreciating the use of teamwork to build battle drones and AT-Walkers, and if they’re skills are up to par, make their very own lightsaber and use it in challenges! May the force be with you as the most competent Padawan’s rise through the Jedi ranks!

 

10.  Snapology Lego Ninjas (ages 5-8):  Tues, 7/14 - Thurs, 7/16, 1:00 - 4:00pm

We’re glad you’re here, because Sensei Wu needs your help to save Ninjago City from evil! In this camp, students will work on things like designing a new dojo and training supplies with which to perfect their ninja abilities, experience the training to help them become more focused and controlled ninjas, and even discover and create their very own element dragon companion to help them save the day! This program will immerse your learner in the world of Ninjago and challenge them to be the best they can be so they can one day be a Master Ninja.

 

11.  Green Thumbs or Passionate Planters? (ages 3-5):  Tues, 7/21 - Thurs, 7/23, 9:00 - 12:00

Come learn about planting and create a your own portable greenhouse!  Design colorful flowers along with having opportunities to play in the dirt.  Pocket gardens and nature sensory bags are sure to please young gardeners!

 

12.  Dazzling Dinosaurs (ages 4-6):  Tues, 7/21 - Thurs, 7/23, 1:00 - 4:00pm

Join us in the Dinosaur Stomp!  Searching for dinosaurs will be on our minds. We will make dinosaur eggs, fossils, masks and hats in this pre-historic camp. Put on your imaginary paleontologist goggles as we go on a Dino Dig! 

 

13.  Construction Camp (ages 3-5):  Tues, 7/28 - Thurs, 7/30, 9:00 - 12:00

 If you like diggers, backhoes and concrete mixers, this camp is for you!  Each camper will create their own construction site complete with levers, pulleys and other simple machines.  We will build bridges, buildings, skyways and invent our own designs. 

 

14.  LEGOS Camp  (ages 4-6): Tues, 7/28 - Thurs, 7/30, 1:00 - 4:00pm

We will build with LEGOS and have daily LEGO challenges! Art activities with LEGOS will be in abundance each day. Creating LEGO slime will be a fan favorite! Who knew you could do so many things with LEGOS?

16.  Trolls Camp (ages 4-6):  Tues, 8/4 - Thurs, 8/6, 1:00 - 4:00pm

We pinky promise you won’t find a brighter, more sparkly camp this summer!  We’ll make our own Trolls doll and accessories, groove to a daily dance party and create the glitteriest slime you’ve ever seen!




 

17.   Dazzling Dinosaurs (ages 3-5):  Tues, 8/11 - Thurs, 8/13, 9:00 - 12:00

Lunch Bunch:  $10/child (ages 4+); lets your child stay with us from 12:00 - 1:00pm each camp day.  Available only with purchase of morning and afternoon camp for that week. Available the following weeks:  6/23-25, 6/30-7/2, 7/7-7/9, 7/14-7/16, 7/21-23, 7/28-30, 8/4-8/6, and 8/13-8/15.

 

Price:  All camps are $109 per child, Lunch Bunch is $10/week

What should I bring to camp?

  • a peanut-free snack or two and drink (plus lunch if your camper is staying the full day)

  • dress for a mess; we use washable materials but they may not come out of fine fabrics

  • a change of clothes if your child is prone to accidents

The details (staffing, cancellations, etc):

  • Camps will take place in our big studio (with sidetrips to the restroom).

  • Camps will have a maximum of 15 campers.  

  • Camps requires 6 participants to run.  We will notify campers one full week before the camp is scheduled to run if the minimum number of participants is not met.

  • Cancellations received 4 or more weeks before the start of camp will receive a full refund. Cancellations received 2-4 weeks before the start of camp will receive a 50% refund. Cancellations received less than two full weeks before the start of camp will receive no refund, but will be issued a credit towards a future camp.

  • Campers must be potty-trained. We are happy to remind campers (often) to go to the bathroom. 

  • All camps are drop-off.  If a parent or caregiver wishes to stay, they may do so as long as they participate with their camper.

  • If your child has allergies or special needs, please let us know so we can provide a great camp experience to every child!
