Price: 

  • Early bird discount: save $10 on all kiddywampus camps if registration is completed by Feb. 15
  • all kiddywampus camps are $109/camper – MacPhail camps are priced per camp
  • sibling discount: 20% off sibling registered in the same camp for all kiddywampus camps – (if you register online, any discounts will not show up at the time of purchase, but will be reflected in the confirmation sent within 48 hours of registration).

 

What should I bring to camp?

  • a peanut-free snack or two and drink
  • dress for a mess; we use washable materials but they may not come out of fine fabrics
  • a change of clothes if your child is prone to accidents

 

The details (staffing, cancellations, etc):

  • Each camp requires 6 participants to run.  We will notify campers one full week before the camp is scheduled to run if the minimum number of participants is not met.
  • Cancellations received 4 or more weeks before the start of camp will receive a full refund. Cancellations received 2-4 weeks before the start of camp will receive a 50% refund. Cancellations received less than two full weeks before the start of camp will receive no refund, but will be issued a credit towards a future camp.
  • Each camper must be potty-trained. We are happy to remind campers to go to the bathroom.
  • All camps are drop-off.  If a parent or caregiver wishes to stay, they may do so as long as they participate with their camper.
  • If your child has allergies or special needs, please let us know so we can provide a great camp experience to every child!

2017 kiddywampus summer camps schedule

 

1. Build a Fort Camp, Mon, 6/12 – Wed, 6/14, 9:30 - noon, ages 4-8

One of our favorite camps of the summer – come build a fort with us! Campers will each receive a giant cardboard box and tons of other supplies to build the fort of their dreams.  The sky’s the limit when our imaginations are engaged—we’ve seen hotels, pet shops, unicorn lairs, dinosaur training centers…let’s see what happens this summer!  Each camper will take a fort home with them at the end of camp. (Note: this camp is very open-ended depending on the campers’ ages & interests.) $109/camper

 

2.  Lego Build a Green City Camp, Mon, 6/19 – Wed, 6/21, 9:30 - noon, ages 4-8 years

Each year we take over our giant studio and create a huge city with cardboard and other supplies.  This year’s theme is sustainability:  how to make our city as green as possible.  We’ll be learning about renewable energy, urban planning, recycling and more.  We’ll make the transportation & smaller, more detailed pieces out of Legos. $109/camper

 

3. MacPhail NEW! Broken Instruments Camp, Mon, 6/26 – Fri, 6/30, 9-11am, ages 6-8 years

Looking to be a little more green this summer? In our new Broken Instruments camp, kids will get the opportunity to explore cellos, trumpets, flutes and other instruments that have seen better days. They will learn the different parts of each instrument as they explore and, when they’re done, they’ll reuse the parts to create new art projects. Your child will even get to use recycled and found materials to make their own instruments to play at home! $175/camper

 

4. Under the Sea Art Camp, Mon, 7/10 – Wed, 7/12, 9:30-noon, ages 3-6 years

Float on over to kiddywampus and celebrate the summer with all our favorite underwater friends.  From Sebastian and Ariel to Dory, Nemo, Rainbow Fish and Bubble Guppies, we’ll have a swimmingly good time together, creating an underwater school and recreating our favorite stories.  We’ll also have a scavenger hunt, make glitter slime, and have a whale of a good time! $109/camper

 

5.  Super Hero Art Camp, Mon, 7/10 – Wed, 7/12, 1-3:30, ages 3-6

Attention Super Heroes and crime fighters everywhere – you are needed at camp this summer!  We’ll take our clues from PJ Masks, Transformers Rescue Bots and other crime fighters to go on adventures, defeat villians, solve mysteries, and have a blast together. $109/camper

 

6.  Princess & Fairy Art Camp, Mon, 7/17 – Wed, 7/19, 9:30-noon, ages 3-6

Bring your wishes as we sparkle with our friends Sofia the First, Princess Elena, Shimmer & Shine for our glitteriest camp of the summer.  We’ll make genie jars, create sparkly jewelry and have a princess party complete with piñata and dancing on the last day.  Costumes welcome! $109/child

 

7. Pirate Art Camp, Mon, 7/17 – Wed, 7/19, 1-3:30pm, ages 3-6

Ahoy, maties…inspired by Jake and the Neverland Pirates, Captain Hook and pirates everywhere, let’s make sure no one walks the plank this summer!  We’ll solve pirate problems together, play lots of games and make arty treasure to take home.

 

8. Super Animal Art Camp, Mon, 7/24 – Wed, 7/26, 9:30-noon, ages 3-6

Do you love Wonder Pets, Paw Patrol and animals galore?  Join us for the furriest camp of the summer.  We’ll learn about endangered animals, build an animal habitat, create “pup packs” containing all the tools we’ll need, and at the end, “adopt” a plush puppy friend to take home. $109/camper

 

9. Star Wars Art Camp, Mon, 7/24 – Wed, 7/26, 1:00-3:30, ages 4-8

I’m one with the force the force is with me… join the Rebellion this summer to fight galactic evil!  We’ll channel the intense focus of Chirrut Imwe, study the tactics of Rey and Jyn, make our own K-2SO droid, rescue Han Solo, and, on the last day, have the ultimate battle between good and evil.  $109/camper

11. MacPhail Pots and Pans – Forte FUN Camp! Mon, 8/7-Wed, 8/9, 9-11am, ages 3-5

Let’s be Forte – LOUD! Preschoolers will have fun making forte (loud) and piano (quiet) music with familiar and new musical instruments. LOUD cymbals, bass drums, and household instruments as well as QUIET triangles, shakers, etc. will be explored as we create our own music. Participants will create their own homemade instruments to continue the musical play at home. $128/camper

 

12.  MacPhail Sing Play Act! Camp, Mon, 8/7-Thurs, 8/10, 1 – 3:30, ages 4-6

If your child enjoys singing, acting, creating art, inventing songs and stories then this camp is perfect! Together students will create a musical from scratch through an organic, creative and relaxed approach based on their ideas. Camp activities emphasize the process of creating a musical theatre production through fun, engaging experiences that lead up to a final performance. Activities include song creation, scenery creation, and much more! $175/child
